課程大綱




行程一

第一天

• 什麼是攻擊行為？如何定義及行為的動作
• 攻擊的動機：考慮潛在原因（例如恐懼、沮喪、掠奪模式、疼痛和醫療疾病）
• 介紹行為學
• 攻擊行為的神經生理學：
  • 大腦中發生的事情
  • 微生物組和腸腦軸
  • 血糖水平與神經化學物質的關係

第二天

• 影響攻擊性表達的因素：了解壓力生理學
• 運動、睡眠、玩耍、應對策略對身體和大腦的影響以及行動反應

第三天

• 影響習得攻擊性反應的因素：
  • 學習理論總結
  • 操作性條件反射與經典條件反射的作用
  • 記憶的形成與促進及抑制新學習的因素
• 理解重新學習（Re-learning）：學習替代行為、環境的影響與概括
• 總結記憶的形成（包括情境）

第四天

• 辨識狗狗的疼痛：
  • 了解不同身體部位可能引起的疼痛
  • 步態和姿勢中的疼痛觀察
  • 肌肉骨骼系統以外的疼痛症狀
  • 如何與客戶一起收集資料並向獸醫提供資訊以排除或消除疼痛
• 辨識狗狗的疾病：
  • 不同身體系統的功能障礙與攻擊傾向的關係
  • 止痛藥物和疾病治療的副作用與攻擊性反應

第五天

• 諮商時協助客戶：透過良好的人際溝通來最大化結果
• 諮詢和觀察有攻擊傾向的狗
• 幫助客戶觀察狗的健康與行為，記錄異常情況

行程二

第一天

• 攻擊行為中的遺傳學與表觀遺傳學（包括遺傳記憶）
• 藥物對攻擊性的影響：
  • 影響攻擊行為的精神藥物
  • 幫助獸醫瞭解劑量、副作用和禁忌症
• 風險評估與安樂死的考量因素

第二天

• 生命階段與攻擊行為的表達：從幼年、青春期到老年，年齡對攻擊傾向的影響
• 生殖激素與攻擊行為：絕育手術或化學絕育的影響

第三天

• 行為矯正的多模式方法：
  • 為何減壓是必須的
  • 正面經驗在訓練中的重要性
  • 提供正面經驗：可預測的協助、豐富化、玩耍與增強關係互信
• 案例研究範例

第四天

• 案例研究

 Module 1
 explores the categorisation of aggression, the ethogram of aggression and the ethogram of the domestic dog, there is an introduction to physiology of aggression: what is going on inside the aggressive animal and also what is going inside the animal as he learns and forms 'new' memories. This module also looks at stress and its impact on the aggressive case.

 Module 2
looks further into the physiology of aggression, looking at the key neurotransmitters that play roles in the development of aggressive behaviours and what affects those. The rest of module 2 is focussed around learning theory - how different types of learning affect aggressive cases and how it essential to understand this when trying to 'modify' an aggressive dogs behaviour. This module also has a section on the practicalities of undertaking consultations with aggressive dogs and how owners have different personality types that may affect the way they process information given to them during a consultation affecting their compliance.

Module 3
looks at how disease affects aggression including pain, how to work alongside vets when needed and also how medications affect behaviour problems including medications used intentionally to reduce aggressive tendencies. This module also looks at neutering and its impact on aggression. The final day of the course is given over fully to practical case studies to pull the whole course together.
